ID Check

Check who you're paying, before you pay.

$0.003 per check about 330 checks for $1

Before your agent sends money to another agent or service, ID Check confirms the payment address really belongs to the website it's dealing with. If an address has been swapped by a scam, a hacked page or a fake message, ID Check sees that the website's own records say something different, and your agent stops.

  • Confirms an address belongs to the website you're dealing with
  • Catches swapped addresses before any money moves
  • Warns about brand-new or empty wallets
  • Free: the exact record to publish so others can verify you

How it plays out

  1. Your agent is about to pay 5 USDC to an address shown on shop.example.
  2. ID Check looks at shop.example's own records and finds the same address there.
  3. Your agent pays, knowing the money goes to the real shop.
  4. Had the address been swapped, ID Check would have found a different one on record, and your agent would have stopped.

Want other agents to be able to verify you? Get the one record to publish. It's free.

Give it to your agent

Paste this into your agent's instructions or chat. Its wallet needs a little USDC.

Who's behind it

  • Made by IGNOREO (ignoreo.com)
  • Payment address published in ignoreo.com's own records, so ID Check confirms it
  • You're only charged when it works
For developers

Before paying an address, check that the domain you are dealing with declares it as its own: in a DNS TXT record (agent-wallet=<network>:<address>, on the host or a parent domain) or in https://<domain>/.well-known/agent-identity.json. Returns verified, mismatch (the domain declares a different address) or unverified, plus on-chain facts about the wallet and warnings such as a never-used or empty wallet. Publishing your own records is free: GET /v1/id-check/setup.
