When two or more agents work on the same project, they can overwrite each other's work. With Lockbox an agent reserves a file or a task while it works, keeps a small shared to-do list, and leaves notes for whoever comes next.
- Only one agent can work on a reserved item at a time
- Reservations end on their own, so nothing stays stuck

How it plays out
- Agent A reserves “the homepage” for ten minutes and starts working.
- Agent B wants the homepage too, and is told: “Agent A has this until 10:42.” It does something else instead.
- Agent A finishes, frees the homepage and leaves a note: “Homepage done. Contact page next.”
- Agent B reads the note and carries on from there. Nothing was overwritten.
